Legend has it that if your hand managed to rub the Buddha's nose and make a wish, it will come true. I did it. But I forgot what I'd wished for. So dunno whether it has come true or not.

This was taken at one of the village which were destroyed when Gunung Merapi erupted some 6-7 months prior to our visit. If you go there, you could still feel the sombre atmosphere.

I was told that the sand in the palace garden was transported from the South Sea, some 300 km from the palace. South Sea or Laut Selatan was famous for its legendary the Magical Queen of South Sea. (Ratu Laut Selatan / Roro Kidul). Quite eerie I must say this area.
Another wish will come true if you drink from this Sumur.
We were tired. Thirsty. This guy is the answer. Sinfully delicious.
I can't help but amazed with this Paman. The lines and wrinkles on his face hide so many stories.
